Team KDA bagged a total of 18 medals by representing various universities around the National Capital Region (NCR) during the recently held Accel sponsored Inter-University Cup last September 29, 2008 at Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall organized by the Philippine Karatedo Federation (PKF). National team members joined the event as well with the special category of Open Weight Divisions Kumite (sparring) Men/Women National Team as well as Kata (forms) National Team. |

KDA Invitational Tournament, 2008 |

Great cheers to team JKA for being the overall champion in the recent KDA Invitational Tournament held last August 31, at Unilever Philippines . Team JKA was able to bag 15 gold, 10 silver, and 3 bronze medals in both kata and kumite events. Moreover, team KDA steps into the second spotlight followed by team SKIF reaping 8 and 5 gold, 15 and 2 silver, and 19 and 1 bronze medals respectively. The other passionate teams who participated in the said tournament consist of: Active, PKTS, MKKPI, ASK, JKO, and EXCEL. Salutations to each and every ardent athlete, coaches, as well as to the organizing karate association, team KDA!
