It was December 8, 2007, a holiday where people were free to enjoy the Black and White Christmas Party. It was the perfect day to keep everyone busy for the purported success of the event. Shodan Black Belters of Karate Development Arts and Sports (KDA) were up early in the morning that day to decorate the place and follow up all the equipment for the party that evening. The Black and White Party was held at Aurora Mansions, Aurora Boulevard QC. Thanks to Mr. and Ms. Glenn Pantig for the ideal place for the party. The proceeds of the event was for the Okazaki Cup and Tournament recently held last February 14 to 17 2008, which, can be considered as one of the greatest achievements of a Karate Organization here in the Philippines.

The event was not just exclusively for KDA but open to anyone: family, relatives and friends. The party was started by the House of Dance who had a wonderful performance to entice the mood of the early birds. The kids enjoyed a lot by playing the variety of games and ice breakers which spiced up the mood like ‘Bring Me’, ‘Stop Sance’ and many more while their parents and other senior black belters enjoyed the free overflowing San Miguel Beer. The teens on the other hand were busy having conversation with their friends while drinking free Coca Cola products, who was a Major sponsor for the event. After the kids got tired of the fun and exciting games, they availed of their free hotdogs sponsored by Purefoods. There were live performers, and thanks to the Euphoria band who made the dance floor come alive. The night ended by listening to the soothing sound of Desdemona Band, whose members are alumni of the School of the Holy Spirit QC.
