With the success of the recently launched Kumite Training Program, KDA has decided to start another competitive training curriculum: the Kata Training Program.  Starting this November 15, this special program is to be handled by no other than Sensei David Lay (Philippine Karatedo Federation coach and Chief Instructor of KDA).

Following suit to the Kumite Training Program which started last week, KDA expects a considerable number of students for this special program by offering a reasonable price for each training session.  Students of these programs (Kumite and Kata) are trained by KDA’s best who are celebrated members of the Philippine Karatedo National Team.  So students should expect nothing less.

These programs are exclusive for KDA students and Black Belts only who are seriously dedicated in improving their Kumite and Kata skills on the mat.  For more information, send an email to or contact the instructors of the programs:

Sir David Lay (Kata program) – (0917)792-0930
Ma’am Maricar Rimando (Kumite program) – (0915)867-8615

Schedule and venue of training programs:

Kumite – 3:00 to 5:30 pm, Saturdays
Kata – 5:30 to 7:30 pm, Saturdays
